Philip Lee
History
Philip’s interest in electronics began at a young age having assembled his first computer before he was a teen. By the end of high school he had configured multiple PC’s from basic parts and designed and installed many car audio systems.
Attending The Rochester Institute of Technology for Software Engineering he developed a strong understanding of the foundations of modern software and hardware. Building on his success in computer and car audio technology Philip went on to work with the Bose Corporation, further expanding his experience and training with Home Audio and Video Systems.
Eventually going on to work with The Westchester Audio/Video Design Center in the Westchester NY area, Philip gained experience working with the early iterations of universal remote controls and whole home control systems.
Moving to Brooklyn NY he began working for the now defunct Harvey Electronics on 45th St. and 5th Ave. designing and selling home theater, multi-room, and home integration systems.
While at Harvey Electronics Philip was approached to work as the Head Project Engineer for Concierge Direct, a new company created to provide for the centralized concierge system of the renovated Plaza Hotel Suites and Apartments. Philip was directly involved in the design and engineering of Home integration systems for the Plaza Residents. Engineering and designing large complex projects with integration of multiple systems Philip gained valuable experience interfacing multiple systems and devices.
After some time with Samsung USA working directly with engineers he was trained in flat panel repair and diagnostics. Philip went on to become the Project Designer/Engineer for Home Theater of Long Island in Manhasset NY. At Home Theater of Long Island Philip trained in the programming and design of Savant Systems, the premier home integration system provider.
After moving to Jacksonville Philip created Adeptus to provide for the many needs of the modern family as well as offer access to the finest services ranging from basic setup and configuration of computers and smart phones to full house integration and control networks.
